        Or stop by your local your local VFW Post of Legion Post featuring a demilitarized tank of half-track and see what they maybe using. Might cost you a beer.

        On fb someone posted a picture of their military style bike and one "critique" was on the paint. Offered here as MAY be of some use:

        "The first thing I see - is - if it were a military scout - THE PAINT is completely incorrect- & modern - LUSTERLESS OLIVE DRAB - is the correct color - ( if you care ) ( it's a strange paint with FIBRES in it - that brake up any Shine ! ( look up the Military vehicle preservation society. ) "

          Thanks Paul.
          The Kaiser Willy's olive drab is "lusterless".I didn't know if that was flat,matt or something else.
          I'm in a local car club that sponsors a free for everyone show at the veterans hospital and good number of military vehicles attend,so good idea to talk to them.
