I am about to the point where I need to get my paint, for my frame and rims. My local automotive paint store caries Sherwin Williams paint. I need to make a choice between acrylic enamel, or urethane enamel. Both have hardener, and are a single stage paint. Has any one have experience with either? Thanks stan

If you have hardener with the enamel, you do not have a single stage paint. You have a "2K" paint, i.e. 2 parts. You will need proper protective gear for this, as well as for the polyurethane. That means a hood or respirator that has its own air supply. For single stage paint options, scroll down and read my post, "Need Paint Advice from John Peirce".
