Painters in San Francisco?

Can anyone recommend a painter in the S.F/Oakland bay area? Someone with old Harley experience that can do an "original" style job.

When you say original style. Do you mean with a brush and laquer on base? Or do you mean the pin work?

The bike I'm working on is a '58 sportster which has almost all of its original finishes and a real nice patina. It was painted a non original color at one time. I'd just like to get it back to original pattern and color, but I don't really want a high gloss, modern looking paint job. I'm not going to rework any of the rest of the bikes exterior and would just like the paint job to "fit" the rest of its look.

One possible idea: A clear could be applied over the color with a bit of flattener added to cut the gloss. Have a few samples sprayed with different amounts of the flattener and pick the one you like.
