  • Henderson 1923 paint colours

Could anyone help with the paint codes in modern automotive paint ? The blue body and grey rims colours are what I've found to be correct, but if someone can give me a web address I would be grateful .
There are many photos on the net that show may variations of the blue ( think it was a darker almost royal blue) and some rims are white but I'm sure they are supposed to be grey.
    Thanks for any leads. Dale

I don't have a colour, but Henderson described it as a dark royal blue with two thin gold pinlines. (from memory, without digging out the books).

I have a Henderson buddy who had a lot of original paint, and a few NOS Hen, and Excelsior parts. He had a few sets of OP rims from the 20s and he thought Krylon 'Dove Gray' was a perfect match. I don't know if that is true as I would like to hear that from another source. I know the wheel color gray is darker, and NOT the light gray that Excelsior used before early 1917. Also, I would never use foo foo paint on rims.
