Source for correct early paints

I posted this in the Panhead threads, but I believe it should have been posted here instead.

I found a source for my 65 FLH Hi-Fi Red and other colors dating back to 1904. They claim to match the correct colors and guarantee it. Plus, they will send paint chips on request. I've ordered the kit and have my painter set to paint once the it arrives. Everything came to just under $400. That seems very reasonable to me.

Thanks for this address, Jarhead! I'm sure people reading it will benefit. Just hope the paints are all they're advertised to be. Some of those colors, like 1937 bronze brown, have been so open to interpretation over the years that they appear in almost all colors of the rainbow, with this or that label on the can. And only $180 a pint! What a bargain.

Got my tin back and it looks perfect!! Chamberlin Auto Body in Stevensville, Pa.18845 did it. Kudos to them! 570-746-1795.

Just e-mailed VMR for paint chips. They replied that they no longer send out paint chips. Has anyone used their Hi-Fi Blue? If so, did you feel it was the correct paint?
