Many civilians order police bikes from H-D. Escort riders, Shriners, and others. I have bought several new police bikes myself. The final word will be with the Chief Judge.

Thanks Chris. Would that be without the Police package[siren, lights, radio, gen& speedo etc]. I don't see many painted silver, although there was 2 at Davenport this year, they looked good.

I can vouch for this. 1991, I bought a brand new FLHT-P, birch white police bike. First titled owner of a brand-new bike from factory. Ordered through my local dealer. And it came with all the police switches, pre-broken-in motor, police-marked speedometer, knob-top bags, solo seat, etc. H-D certainly sold police bikes to civilians. This was 14 years before I became an LE... so wasn't even being ordered by an officer or through my dept.

        Cheers,

        Sirhr
