Paint on 36 vld cylinders and heads

I am getting ready to paint my cylinders and heads on my 36 vld. Should this be flat black, satin, semi gloss or gloss? What is a good high heat paint and prime to use on this?

Dear Sam, nice bike! I use Simoniz Sperex gloss black engine enamel on beadblasted cylinders and heads, and have been very happy with it. It works on mufflers too, and looks good on exhaust pipes for a while. Cylinders/heads take two or three coats, say 1-2 spray cans for an engine.
