Beautiful motorcycle, Kim. The 1958 Harley-Davidson BT is one of my favorites and another 'transition' bike that H-D did so well. Have fun at Davenport, and your ambitious trip to N.Y. and back to Wyoming. Florida in the Winter. . . You're living the life, man.

My first H-D was a 58 that I bought in 71 and paid $740.00 off a used car lot, (Still have it), was a ditto of your bike. Same colors, everything. I pulled the motor and trans and built a chopper 'cause "Girls liked choppers and I like girls." In 89 along, with the help of David Sarafan who picked up a beat up rolling chassis, put it back to a nice rider 58 so I could bring it to the 50th Daytona in 91. Best and most comfortable riding bike I own out of all of them. You will love it.

Congrats on the finished project. Awesome bike! Great photo too, Platte River Trail sculpture? I'd take the 58 to FL.....
