https://www.amazon.com/photos/all/ga...iYcx4lH4A?sf=1Have had this bike for almost 40 years. In the beginning I rode it and evaluated what needed done. Other than taking off incorrect windshield, exhaust ,and turn signals it ran great (had documented engine work). I painted the frame, primary, oil tank. Parkerized my parts. The transmission needed a rebuild as on decelerations it would jump because shift dawgs were damaged and the main drive gear was bad. I had some chrome re-done, re laced the front wheel, rebuilt the carb, generator and front end. Then I ended up laid off so I opened a shop wrenching on bikes, semi’s, oil field equipment, anything to eat. I did that for about 10 years. Then I worked for a oil field company the last three years of employment. After retiring it took a two years to get back to my pan. I’ve been retired for going on 13 years now. And finally I decided it was close enough to run it. I hung a IV gasoline bottle from between and above the windshield and lough and behold it started in one kick after primer kicks! I’m stoked. 29 years since it last ran. I’ve ridden it up and down the street about 12 times. Next I need to locate a restoration painter preferably in Florida as I winter there. Need to finish it before I take a dirt nap!

It’s great you’ve held on to it all these years and now have a chance to enjoy it. I’ve recently come to the same conclusion that it’s time to wrap up projects and enjoy the ride. Best of luck on finishing it up. Keep us posted, love to follow progress.
