  • I've decided to sell the 3-speed transmission I rebuilt that was in Frankie for 1,608 miles now that i am running Ray Bartomeli's 36-only 4-speed transmission.

ALL PARTS in this 3-speed (big dollar items) are new as of 1,608 miles ago except the main gear that rotates in the large sealed drive side ball bearing.
New parts include, and not limited to starter sector gear, starter mainshaft gear, starter clutch gear. Michael Breeding's forged starter crank with Alemite grease fitting so bushing can be greased. New hard to find starter crank spring washer. All of Robert Luland's specialty transmission parts (pictures attached) including mainshaft with new split bronze bushing, Countershaft Conversion Kit, clutch hub shell ring, actuating plate with new pins, and Bob's stud mounting kit. Sealed mainshaft drive and kicker side ball bearings. Mark Masa's clutch hub shell and sprocket with new races riveted in by Bob Luland. New Comp.D clutch plates, clutch springs and mainshaft sprocket. Comes with 3-speed shifter gate and shifter lever. The gear lock plate and clutch release arm are the 1928-type positive gear locating setup which is superior to the Rube Goldberg 1927 floozie flopper setup. All of these parts are in an excellent condition 1927 numbered case. VL starter cover cap with Alemite grease fitting. New starter pedal. I probably have most, if not all of the receipts for these parts which I will provide if the purchaser requests them.

This unit is ready to be installed now and give thousands of miles of reliable service and good, clean fun.

$3,000 or reasonable offer. Includes shipping in Contiental USA.
