  • Schebler carb question

Can anybody identify a Schebler DLX 7S. What was it used on? Thanks

This is a pretty good list of Schebler models, although I don't see a DLX-7s or DLX-75.

      Speedball!

If it happens to actually be a potmetal DLX-78, then it would be for a 1932 Indian 30/50 Scout Pony.
Is it a Type A with the choke in the airhorn, or B or C?

Thanks for your responses. I have not been able to find the 7S on any list. It is stamped on the body of the carb above the cast in name. The choke butterfly is flush with the intake end and there seems to be no holes to attach an air cleaner. I will try to attach a picture.

          Speedball!

It is indeed a Type A, although someone has crammed a chokeshaft through the two holes that would secure an airhorn.
And I guess that's the HS needle in the LS hole.
It is in very good condition!
