    panhead cam covers

I waswondering if anyone can tell me if the breather pipe in a panhead cam cover is cast pressed in as it would seem to be? If so what is the best aproach at removal? Also any tips for reinstall? I have a cover I would like to use very much, but the gasket surface will need trued up in order to do so. Figuired it was best to seek some advice before I went and made matters worse all on my own.

It is pressed in and comes out easily with a plier or something that grips good without grrrring.
