Dear Bob, the 1928 Schebler list shows DLX 53 for 1927 Harley racing and hillclimbing, and DLX 54 for 1928 Cleveland 4. It does not show DLX 55, so we infer it is a 1929 carburetor. If it is a regular three bolt with lugs for the air cleaner then we can stretch to saying it's for a 1929 Harley or Indian Big Twin, as the small twins were still using the 1" carb.
