  • 1915 Single Schebler carb question

    Greetings
I have started work on a 1915 Harley single project. The motor is complete, with a few modifications. One of the parts missing is the carburetor. I don't have a lot of information and pictures of a 15 single seem hard to find. But the one picture that I did find shows the image of the Schebler carburetor as having a larger manifold size as compared to a 1914 model. I do have the intake manifold and the threads on it seem larger as well. The 3/4 inch pipe nipple sticking out has been brazed in and doesn't appear to have been original equipment.I have included the only decent picture I can find as well as the picture of my motor. There were around 1,200 of these bikes produced. I do like the intake pushrod/adjuster modification that the owner of the bike made. I guess it was anything to keep the machine running. I would appreciate any information on what carburetor this would take, Thanks

My listings are a composite, Max,

    So it shows

    HX-94 1914 HD twin
    HX-94 1915-1917 HD single

Since they do not seem to have been stamped that early,
I'd say anything that screws on would be worth fixing.

    If you have the resources..
