      Its all pretty arbitrary, Peter!

      Counting turns makes a guestimate sound authoritative every time.

      My pic references for a DLX72 do not show the idle screw, but the majority of DLXs used the same screw pitch as pre-'50 Linkerts.

      Ideal intuition, and a kiss of luck, to get it just open enough to kick over to a high idle to warm for further tuning, really ain't that hard,... When everything else is in order..

      Understanding the actual function, however, still eludes me:
