I actually have found an old drawing in the club archives showing a design for a .490 lift (standard was about .380) used on a few very late cars. Need to groove the tappet arm, but doable. I have Retro Track working one for me... I am also going to do a key slot about 5 degrees off (retarded). Plus a 4.5:1 compression. Going to be fun...
Debated changing the angle a bit and a longer duration, but with this engine, I think I can do everything with lift.
