When I accelerate a little hard (on ramp or passing) the transmission will stick sometimes. It won't up shift, it will down but not up.

When out riding and staying in 3rd 45/50 mph back roads; when I get up to a stop it sometimes wont down shift.

In both cases it will always work its self out but something needs fixed and I don't know what.

    Any ideas?????

    MY65HD!

Many shifting problems originate at the clutch.
    Is yours a foot-shift or tank-shift?

Its a foot. In the first scenario it will down shift and if I pull in the clutch the motor disengages and let it out the motor reves back up. The foot shifter just locks up.
