they look like a 12 penny nail that's about 1inch long and is spayed at one end

I can let you have a couple if you really want to use them.

that would be great! i am going to use iron pistons on a 27 jd engine so piston lock pins would be required. i see you live in new zealand. i can send international postal money order. this is the first time i have been on any forum anywhere so i do not know if any one will even see this. when i started a thread (if that is what you call it) i did not see it for a few days so ithought i did not do it correctly.
