I tried a halogen bulb in my Indian once. I am not sure whether it is the same brand you are asking about. I got it from a supplier in California in 2004. I installed it in my Indian just before an 8500 mile trip to Alaska and Yukon. I had to modify the socket to make it fit because the base of the bulb was 90 degrees out. It worked well before I left. At the first gas stop I noticed it was burnt out. I put the original bulb back in that had been in 25 years and it is still in. Perhaps the halogen bulb I got was a dud. Tom Wilcock
