  • Bosch ZE1 Mag problems

    Dear Fellow AMCA Members;

    I have had recent problems with my 1912 Harley Davidson single. The bike starts and runs well until the mag starts cutting out at approximately 5 miles + on a ride. Points, plug, plug wire and all visible electrical is is fine shape. Appears my mag armature is giving out?

    Any advice on who can test and rebuild a Bosch ZE1 would be appreciated.

    Farm tractor supplys can usually rebuild old style magnetos. Just tell them it is from a Harley-Fergison. ;-)
