Splitdorf parts (obscure parts)

I managed to break one of the spring clips that hold the distributor cap onto my Splitdorf NS2 magneto, and I'm not having any luck finding a replacement. It's Splitdorf part #52163 and I've reached out to several sources with no luck so far. Anyone have any ideas where to get one?

Here's what it looks like, the broken one is to the left and a not broken one shows on the right (note, the zip tie is not original to the bike)

And yes, I did screw up...the cap kept falling off so I thought I should try to bend the spring clip to hold it better....snap!

You may want to try LEroy Blank @Quality magneto in Lipitz Pa.
I met him at Oley this year and he recently rebuilt 2 Splitdorfs for me.
Not sure if he sells parts but he has lots of mags.Google him for ph number,No Internet.

Maybe you can make a new one from a piece of spring steel. Measure the thickness and check with McMaster Supply company. I think it was called blued, tempered and polished spring steel 1095 if I remember correctly.
