    restoring a 46 chief with an edison splitdorf mag bench tested worked great , after installation no spark? an ideas before i have to tear everything down to take it off. thanks chris

    ...when you look at it with the cap off, motor turning over, does the rotor spin?

          Hello!I was hoping for a little help. I have been having a hard time starting my 47 with a Edison-Splitdorf Magneto. I think I figured out the problem. The rotor connection point seems to be burnt off. I ordered a new rotor and cap from enfield racing but I cant find points for a Edison-Splitdorf RM Magneto. Anyone know where

              Make sure lead from points to condenser isn't pinched to ground.

                checked lead to condenser no ground, but loose screw at junction block and turns out the threads in block are stripped, anyone think there's any of those around?
