Question about solid state regulator for 32E 6 volt generator converted to two brush.

Asking for a AMCA friend who is not on forum. He has a 1931VL with stock 32E 6 volt generator. He is going to modify the generator to two brush configuration and wants to use 6 volt solid state regulator. Does he use the same solid state advertised for 6 volt 3 brush generator or is there a different solid state regulator required to use with the two brush conversion? Thanks.

He will need a 2 brush regulator. There is no swapping between the transistorized 3 brush cut-out and the 2 brush regulator. Jerry
