    does anyone know which model Edison mag was used on a 1946 Indian chief? thanks

    Chris, wondering if you've checked with Enfield Racing? The make plastic parts for the RMG2 ...which may be the correct one for '46 (I do not know), but at least they may have an answer or can direct you to someone that does. Good luck.

              As listed in the Edison chart posted above by pisten-bully, the correct mag for (I believe 1938 and up) Chief is the RMG-2, spec 04051. Note the only difference between Chief an Scout is rotation, Scout being CCW and Chief CW, looking at the drive end. The only thing different inside is the cam, which has the indexing key slot in a different location.
