does someone know for sure if motolamp was stamped on the 48-53 headlight shell? thanks i believe 47 was the last year of the motolamp stamp then the light changed to a sealed beam the shell and bezel changed?

"For sure" No. I did not find anything in my copy of Hatfield's. In the library there is a 348 brochure that mentions: "Sealed beam headlight". My 46 does have Moto Lamp headlight lens and shell.
Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will chime in.
