  • 6v sealed beam

Any good 7” 6 volt sealed beams for Harley big twin ? Only thing I’ve found is automotive ones, even from motorcycle parts suppliers and are dim.

The difference is the beam pattern, Otis!

My auto bulbs were never 'dim', unless something else was amiss.

Dim can be from lower running voltage. Most Cycle Electric gennys run about 7.25 volts.Tedd sells Beck MC bulbs.

Running these on my 48 Chief and 64 Duo Glide and couldn't be happier. Incredible visibility at night and great visibility in day for oncoming drivers. Just make sure your electrical system is up to snuff. You want at least 6.5 volts running at the headlight plug. I think they will trigger on at 6 but best to have some margin. Losses at ignition switch and headlamp switch can lower voltage by the time it gets to lamp. I've got both but to me the economy lens seems to have a little brighter daytime presence.
These were plug and play on both bikes. No mod necessary
