    Help with fuse on 12 volt conversion

    Hi: just converted my 46 servi to 12 volt … it keeps popping the 15 amp fuse … I’m thinking maybe I need to use a larger one ? Looking for experienced I site before moving on with the search , thank you

    I think you mean 15 amp and that should be plenty. More info.

        Yes , I meant amp … long day , fixed TY. It seems to happen a few moments after turning on the ignition and after a couple kicks… was hoping the fuse needed a change ….figured I’d ask before I start searching for a short… electrical was redone about 20 miles ago ., it’s an old ignition switch … might be that as well Rosie definitely is the Alpha in this duo

          A 15 amp fuse is more than sufficient. Who did the rewire? Start by just turning the ignition switch on and waiting to see if the fuse blows. If it does not you have pretty much eliminated the switch and the ignition circuit. If it blows when you try to kick it look for a bare wire that may only be grounding when you put the kick starter in motion.
