1949 Indian Scout ignition Switch

I would like to know if any member can suggest a repair shop for the re-assembly of an original Briggs and Stratton ignition switch for used on Indian and Harleys from 1949-1954. I found a chart from a Briggs catalog that gave a key code, though after cleaning my original parts, I could find no stamping on the cylinder.
I emailed Briggs & Stratton, though they have not responded to my message.
How much does re-assembly usually cost?

I would start with my local locksmith some of those folks are quite talented in this area and can do some amazing things.

I had good luck going this route with a Chief switch some year ago. I hope you have similar success. Please let me know if this works out or not.

I re-build these switches and I have an old locksmith friend who can easily make a key(s). Are all of the original parts included? If you are interested, please let me know. Thank you.

Yes, I am. I have not contacted a local shop yet. I would feel better doing this through someone associated with the AMCA who has had a similar issue.
I was actually able to find key blanks from 1949 on Ebay, though they still need cut.
What happened is that when I took the switch apart, I then tried to remove the cylinder and a small, horse-shoe shaped washer came out with a small spring. With my lack of electrical knowledge, there is no way I could ever get this back together. I can send everything necessary and feel free to replace anything defective or missing. This one came from Tucson, AZ and there was much sand and grit inside. I think I removed most of the sand and dirt.
