Engine bogs when headlights on?

I hope some out there can help me.

My 1950 Pan (12 volt) bogs when I give her throttle after turning my headlights on. Then she runs strong when I turn the lights off.

I recently replaced the battery, so I suspect the generator.
or...could it be the coil?
I'm not much of an electriction.ALL ASSISTANCE IS GREATLY APPRECIATED

battery low. Test and recharge. Gen not putting out enough current to recharge/suppliment it. Well - that's my guess.

AdminGuy. I am waiting for a new generator. Will let you know the outcome once installed.

New generator. New battery. New regulator.

The regulator is from CCI. has red and green led lights. (green means charging - red means not charging as per the instructions).

At appx 2000 rpm when all three front head lights are on the red led light on the regulator illuminates, (when I test the battery at that time she shows charging at 12.5 volts).

Should I be concerned with these red and greeen lights on the regulator or be happy that my 12 volt battery is being charged at 12.5 volts while under full load?
