  • Light question

Cleaning out my wife's fathers basement workshop after he passed a number of years ago we ran into a what looks like a driving light called "Flamethrower." Hooked it up to my battery charger to see if it works and voila, not only does it work but it REALLY works. Question is, I run 12V on my Panhead with a Harley 12V generator and a Bosch regulator. Kinda like what is on a Sportster. The battery charger shows it pulls about 4 amps. Will I have an issue running this??

    Thanks in advance.

Is the wattage marked anywhere on it?

      Howdy sir,

No more so than any period sealed beam like a GE 4030, have had quite few of those and low beam varies up to 4.5 amps. Because of shock/vibration compared to most automotive applications, besides the light pattern different than an m/c application, some car lights not as robustly made in the filament section.
