  • Delco Remy 16 horn not working.

Could somebody refer a place to purchase the wire to rewire the horn core. I was told it's a special type of copper wire and I have no clue on what it's called and also the wire gauge.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

It's called magnet wire. Measure the OD of the wire with calipers or a micrometer and then google "wire gauge chart" and that will let you determine the AWG size. Next go to eBay and search for "magnet wire xx awg" where xx is the AWG wire size previously determined. You will get lots of hits. Find a spool of the size you need with enough length and then buy it. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy.
