  • help identifying a generator

Just got a small load of parts, and in it was a genny that was stamped, not tagged. The stamping says 58R. I think it's a 6 volt 2 brush, but the end has a sheet metal piece that looks just like the adjusting plate on a 3 brush 32E. Any help with this one?

58R is a two brush radio generator that should have fan cooling on it. The armature shaft should extend out the left end for the fan. Used with the large 3 component regulator.
