    which spark plugs for WLA

My rebuilt 1942 WLA is getting to the point where I'll be putting the heads on soon. Probably time to plug up the holes where the spark plugs go. Hey? That's probably why they call them "plugs"! Sorry, time for long weekend. Anyway. Since I am converting to 12 volts, will the NGK A-6 or A-7, or HD#3 or #4 work?

It has iron heads, slightly bigger intake valves, 1 1/4" Linkert, and 12 volts.

    Sound right?

    Thanks All

First off, do your heads have 18MM or 14MM plug holes in them. Later iron heads changed to 14, all early types are 18. And plugs don't care about the system voltage, so the 12V conversion affects nothing ignition wise, (the same is true of points and condensers).
