Model 52 generator identification

After going through all my no longer needed parts I came across a model 52 generator that has the engraved identification on the case. it is identical to my second find that is also a model 52. the difference is in the mounting holes. One is for 5/16 bolts the other is for 1/4 mount bolts. There is no K identification and they are both 2 brush generators. can anyone give me some info that identifies what I have so I can find the proper home for them.

Without any digging into books and such, my guess is that the one probably got stripped out and they re-drilled and taped larger
