    Edison Splitdorf RM Magneto part needed

    I need a condenser for my Edison Splitdorf RM magneto, but have not been able to find one. Does anyone know where I can get one?

      You may have to find an equivalent rated condenser and run it on the outside due to the original's shape being what it is.

        I would recommend not replacing it with another electrolytic condenser. If you find a NOS replacement it's almost certainly dead by now because electrolytic condensers have a finite lifetime. And, even if it is of new manufacture it still will last only a few years (which is why in the old days you replaced the points and condenser whenever you did a tuneup on your car).
