  • Knucklehead Speedo lamp Socket

Does anyone know of the whereabouts of an OEM speedometer lamp socket assembly for a 1947 FL. It's a one-year only part and they seem to be hard to find. Does anyone make a reproduction socket yet ?? - I haven't seen any.

    Thanks...

        J. Napierlla also has them. They were NOS when I bought one a few years back.

Old Dude also has them as I bought two not to long ago. Not cheap! They are one year only for 47 beceause they have a mounting bracket that is part of the dash cover and shines through a window along the bottom 1/3 of the speedo also not very bright. It is a pain and held in the bracket by a spring washer. When you take the dash cover off you need to disconnect the wire from the switch terminal or cover your tanks and let it dangle by the wire. Either way it is a bum set up and was changed in 48 to a light socket in thr speedo itself.
