Why does this coil have four terminals on it? I just got to know. Thanks, Bob L
What is this coil for?

That coil was used on machine with radio supression covers over the plug wires. They grounded to the coil on the lower terminals. Common on Military and Police bikes.Be sure to visit;

Thank you Chris. Now I know why the suppression wires had the extra wire on the side with the terminal on it. Cool beans! I mean, who new? And here I was waiting for someone to tell me that it was part of the special swing arm 1952 FL with titanium heads that was for export only. Bob L

OK Rob, I have a 32 Generator that has some kind of capacitor attached to it. Does that have anything to do with this set up. Thanks, Bob

Rob, It's a 32E. Now that I'm staring at it in better light. That thing looks like some kind of ignition condenser. Any idea why it's there? Bob LAttached Files
