I figured I share this little find with you guys. Got this tool in today for riveting brake shoes and clutch plates. Has one pin for removal and peining pin. Old and Working

I bought mine 30 some years ago from Barnett Tool & Engineering.
Probably not quite the quality as this one looks, but mine has done at least 2 or 3 hundred jobs and is still good to go.

thanks paps. i just ordered up 2 of them. i couldn't resist seeing how they are on sale for 12.95$. who knows, maybe a good friend might need one. any recomendation for a fender rivet tool as well? i have no clue on what kind of tool that it would take and i would like to start riveting my own fenders. thanks again, len.

Here is what you need to do the fender rivets:





Made up from some scrap steel bars, about 6 or 8 inches long. Left to right: the one has the shape of a shallow domed head for the fender's sheet metal rivets, done with a ball end mill, and the smaller hemispherical one is for the outsides of the fender brace rivets, and the one with the squared hole is for both of the inside ends.
Hold one tool in the vise, have a friend to help you hold the fender and all in place, and one of the other tools is applied with a hammer. 'With a little practice, works like a charm!

just finished putting my 45" clutch plate fiber on my clutch hub. turned out really well but i only have a couple of brass tubular rivets left(had plenty but through practice i used most of them). now i'm trying to hunt some more down for future projects. the rivets i need are #2485-12, 3/16" x 11/32". #2485-41, 3/16" x 9/32". #2485-41A, 3/16" x 7/32". can anybody please refer me to a place where i can pick some up and with part #s. rivets are confusing to me and a place with the #s would be so helpful. thanks to all, len.
