Generator Field Coil Tool

Bruce Palmer's book refers to plans for a tool to assist in installing field coils in Harley/Delco generators but the plans were not included when the book was printed. Does anyone have the information to build such a tool?

Although this is a old post my solution was to use a muffler expander to press the shoes out enough to start the screws. This also conformed the field windings to the case. This may help future builders.
