    Burnishing tool

I have heard rumors of a home made oil pump burnishing tool. Does anyone know how to make one and how to use it?

Are you talking about lapping the check ball seats?

          Steve's burnisher's are professional quality.

Attached is the first one I cobbled last decade (piloted stone is for pre-dressing damaged seats).
Anyone with a lathe and silversolder can whip one up
