  • tail light lens retaining springs

I have heard there is a tool for installing the two tail light lens retaining springs #5067-39 & #5067-39A, used in all H-D 1939-40 tail light housings, to retain both lenses. Does anyone know what it looks like or better yet do you know a trick to get these two *@#$%^ retainer springs, in place?

Probably a little bit late.. It's also for the 1941 ones by the way.

Thanks for the information. I found the special tool (#11882-39) mentioned in the Palmer's book but did not see any photos of the it in the book.
I did finally manage to get the two springs installed with out the aid of this special tool, not an easy task.

      Thanks again nukkel for responding.
