I was trying to lace and true a mid-star hub wheel (67-72), but could not figure out how to make spin on the bearings as the there are bearings in the brake drum.
There apparently is a tool (#95522-68 arbor collar), but I could not even find a picture of one. SO, I took an old front drum and machined the outer part of the drum off, just leaving the hub. I also machined a step where the end of the wheel hub itself would be so that I could measure the wheel offset from it.
It worked great!
I also made a short axle with centers drilled in end to actually tighten it all on the bearings, but got the same results truing it with and without the axle in it.
