I converted my 6 volt Splitdorf generators to 12 volt. It can easily handle the load of the stryker, no problem, it is very small. Some guys used a total loss system for lights, recharging the battery at the end of the day. The stryker could be connected to this as well. It will use vehicle battery power first. The stryker also has an internal battery as well so can be used stand alone and does not need power from the bike. I don't think it will read battery voltage on a 6 volt system though but the cylinder head temp would still work as would all the other features. Just carry a spare battery, they last a long time actually.
