I recently joined the Driftless Wi chapter. A couple guys I know are members and I decided it was time to join. For bikes I have a 1993 Heritage Softail, a 1974 XLCH, a recently acquired 1967 XLCH project bike, a 1970 Hodaka Super Rat, Suzuki TC 185, and a 1977 Kawasaki KZ750 twin. The 74 Ironhead is a science project I've been working on for several years. Not much original bike is left but it's been a good learning experience (plan is to have it back on the road this coming summer). This will hopefully pay off as I work towards putting the 67 back together as a mostly original bike. One big motivation for joining was to be able to see the pictures in chuckthebeatertruck 's Q ship Sportster rebuild thread!

Welcome Jeremy! My first new bike was a Super Rat ...I think it cost around $600, a lot of fun for the money!Pisten Bully is Harry Roberts in Vermont.

I like the tin cover conversion.
My ‘71 was converted to a 67-70 xlh dry clutch, but kept the electric start. It’s 86 inches, so I don’t mind the button some days.
i hope the Q ship series brings you useful info.
