I’m Graeme — thanks for the add.
Recently retired after 43 years working around the world (started as an aircraft mechanic, ended up running cutting-tool factories).
Got hooked on Harleys at 12 thanks to the neighbour’s bike, and the interest never left. I’m now deep into researching the old Harley thread standards and trying to document the details that have vanished over time.
A few of my rebuilds:

A few of my rebuilds:
- WL – kept completely original with its patina.
- WL orange sidecar – a proper bitsa build.
- Maroon U sidecar – the special one… the same bike I worked on as a kid, did my licence on, and unbelievably bought back at auction 41 years later.
