Hello currently working on servicars, a 53 in title only that I am currently riding after some repairs like broken cam cover, broken axle and transmission problems, shifting fork, shifting clutch, second gear and seals. Also a 60 police model that I am chasing Gremlins in. hard starting low-power but it is in pretty fair condition. I've owned both of them less than a year and the 60 less than three months. Learned a lot and picked up a lot of tips just looking at this forum so I thought why not join. I'm a 67 year old retired power plant mechanic Machinist so time is on my side hopefully for a while.

Welcome E. The 53 looks like fun to tool around on. You've apparently learned quite a bit with the repairs you've been doing to it.
Love the 60. I'm right there with you in age and retirement and currently doing a ground up on my 60 FLHF. Thanks for the intro and the pics.

            Welcome aboard echambers,
Servi's are fun to ride and easy to work on. I have a 56G myself.
You won't win any races with them, and if you are used to solo riding, that "lean into the corners" thing takes some getting used to (because they don't ).
Lot's of great people here, have fun, and enjoy !!!

LOL yes you won't win any races but can still get some thrills my chopped up 53 sometimes goes into a death wobble at the end of second gear. Can get exciting with one hand off the bars to make a shift.
