    Hi Bill from Maine here.
After years of being told by local AMCA members that I should join I finally did.
I have own a bunch of 70s motorcycles over the years, mostly Japanese. During Covid I purchased a "cheap" 1970 BMW R75/5. $10k and around 400 hours later I had a showroom condition BMW.
I have always wanted a old 40s motorcycle. I think my next purchase will be a 46ish Indian Chief.

        Welcome Bill,
        Beautiful R75/5.
I built a 1976 R90/6 for my father years ago when he retired........he put over 100,000 miles on that bike before he passed away.
        They are great bikes.

Greetings from Calais ,Maine Bill. I'm an Indian guy, if I was going to own an offshore bike it would be a BMW. My wife drives the 4 wheeled ones! Most of the guys in the club are down south, I'm on the Canadien border. You will like it here, this forum is awesome.

I grew up in Sherman. I went out that way quite a few times through the years.

I haven't been on forums for years. Used to be my thing before Facebook but I just took FB off from my phone so going back to forums.

Nice! I wish I had an earlier model T500. I think they look better. Is that a Ural?
                          Are you in Maine?
