Hi Thanks for the welcome Joe them Fxr's sure are fun!
Paul Thanks for the welcome and for the chapter info what drew me to the Amca club was in awe at the TwistedOZ Swap meet figured I had a bike worthy of Amca.

I've always loved two wheels in the blood you know.

I've been tinkering with my 1951 Triumph Thunderbird not stock just getting her back on the road after years of slumber.
Sunday changed her engine oil after break in runs.
Couple pics of my 51 T-bird
T/O bike drags I try to make it there every year

Forgot to add a bit about my ride I shared
I Bought this bike in 2012 came with sprung hub with rim and front hub with rim front forks engine frame numbers match came with lower part of rear fender and oil tank and seat was with parts came with bike.

I added handlebars the fuel tank came from my parts stash it's from a 1970 Triumph Bonneville I fitted front fender think it came from a Honda.
I Rebuild the engine new bearings ,new pistons oem bore size just ball honed up, crank journals mic'd in spec reused the rods good to go.
I also rebuilt the gearbox new bearings swapped out the shifter plate and plunger out of my unit twin parts stash.
Headlight is a old Kd I bought off eBay added plate holder /taillight off there also
Rear fender is a ribbed fender I made strut and painted black.
Just this year got er back on the road.
          Thanks
