Just joined the club and looking forward to meeting and chatting about antique motorcycles. I recently bought a 1942 Harley Davidson WLC flathead. Slowly learning how to ride a tank shift with a foot clutch. Needs a little work here and there but is definitely road worthy. Also own a 2006 Ultra Classic as my daily ride. Welcome Mitch. Does your WLC still have left hand throttle, right side advance and brake, and the auxiliary clutch hand lever?

Welcome aboard! I have a 1942 WLA. It does take just a little practice but you will learn very fast on hand shifting, foot clutch and spark advance all while working the throttle.

Welcome from sunny AZ. give it a few weeks and you'll have that foot clutch down. It's definitely a different experience.
