Happy New Year! My name is Joe and I have a motorcycle addiction.
I've been meaning to join AMCA for a while, and finally got to it. I have been riding motorcycles since I was a teenager, over 50 years ago. I still have one of the first bikes my parents bought my brother and me, a 1972 Honda SL100. I've owned 18 bikes in those years, some I kept longer than others, but enjoyed them all. Here they are in order
72 Honda SL100 (new) - still have it in the basement
73 Yamaha RD350
82 Kawasaki KH750 (new)
86 Harley XL883 (new)
84 Kawasaki KH650
82 Harley FXR
76 Kawasaki KH500
86 Kawasaki KDX200
07 “Choppa” Bike-in-a-Box kit- still have it for Easy Rider days
04 Moto Guzzi V11 Sport (new)
76 Yamaha RD400 vintage road racer USCRA#496
78 Yamaha RD400
10 Harley Road King
12 Harley Road King- still have it, wife rides with me on this one
79 Harley FXS 1200- still have it, my favorite to ride
82 Harley FXR- still have it, torn apart for restoration.
04 Honda CRF 230
98 Harley FXDS-Conv- still have it in Florida for winter riding
The six that I still own are mostly Harleys, they suit my riding style now. I enjoy the rebuilding/restoration as much as the ride, and will be putting the 82 FXR back to original condition soon.
